Description: Microsoft and Google have disclosed a new vulnerability, dubbed Speculative Store Bypass Variant 4 that impacts Intel, AMD and ARM processors. If exploited, an attacker could potentially access information that was meant to be hidden. Speculative Store Bypass Variant 4 is similar to the Meltdown and Spectre vulnerabilities from earlier in the year, in that it is a new kind of attack on processors.
